With the Dogon Family from Cape Town, South Africa.

On Thursday, April 24, 2014, Denise Dogon, of Cape Town, South Africa, along with her daughter Calli and friend Storm De Klerk, took time out of their personal trip in Israel and made a special visit to  the Youth Futures Programme in Lod, a programme that is supported by the Lion of Judah (Women's Division) of Cape Town.

The visit took place at the Youth Futures Room at the Community Centre in Lod. Upon arrival, they were greeted by KH-UIA and Jewish Agency staff, as well as Directors and Mentors of the Youth Futures Programme in Lod.

They heard a full briefing on the Youth Futures Programme and the great affect it continues to have on the youth at risk in Lod, as well as many other children throughout Israel. The programme in Lod is unique in that it deals with co-existence and benefits both Jewish and Arab children.
Their visit at the Youth Futures Programme in Lod was very meaningful as they were able to see first-hand the great work being done by the programme that is supported by the Cape Town Lion of Judah and how it directly benefits the children of Lod.

Thank you to Denise, Calli & Storm for taking time out of their private time to visit this important KH-IUA project.
