Leaders gather in Israel for Kh-Uia’s Annual World Conference

Keren Hayesod-UIA's annual World Conference participants converged on Tel Aviv’s Hilton Hotel May 7th to 10th for Keren Hayesod-UIA’s World Conference. The annual event, which in recent years has been held in May to enable leaders to experience Yom Hazikaron and Yom Ha’Atzmaut in Israel, brings together the organizations top leaders, activists and donors from throughout the globe.

The program began Tuesday evening, May 7th, with a moving memorial ceremony for Israel's fallen soldiers and victims of terror, at the Amphitheater in the Armored Corps Memorial Site in Latrun, where a series of bloody battles took place during the 1948 War of Independence. The thousands of people who came to pay tribute to the memories of the fallen also included participants in KH missions and in the Keren Hayesod-supported Masa program.
